I had an art teacher who, throughout his regime, only believed art had two rules. They were somewhat unconventional, but went as follows:
No unicorns. No rainbows.
“Now now children, they’re overdone. You’re above that.”
Naturally, I disagreed.In the end, so did he. It is, according to my professor, the only image of himself hanging in his living room.
Take from this that there is a creative use for everything. With no exceptions, anything can be made exceptional. This is a philosophy which I strive to follow.
